Recently there has been declining satisfaction with work life balance with a concurrent rise in burnout. Generational changes in trainees and physicians contribute to the challenges of work life integration, particularly related to the desire for a more balanced lifestyle. Additionally, with the rising number of female physicians in medicine, childbearing is often delayed during training. Female physicians suffer from infertility at alarming rates, yet despite the numerous consequences the lack of support for fertility management from medical systems is striking. There is often inadequate education related to physician fertility and a lack of insurance coverage to support treatments. These topics cause significant wellness challenges to our community that are also impacted by our institutional cultures. With this webinar, we aim to educate and support our community about life outside work as a parent/caregiver, the struggles and current state of infertility, and propose solutions and advice from experts in the field to create an environment supportive of these identified challenges. Learning Objectives: Initiate a conversation regarding PHO providers as caregivers outside the workplace, and how support can be offered from the PHO community Educate the audience about infertility data amongst healthcare workers, address issues related to lack of financial support and ways that some institutions are addressing this, and provide resources for fertility-related emotional support for medical providers Create a community of providers that share problems and solutions openly regarding personal struggles with stressors outside the workplace Speakers: Adit Tal, MD (moderator) Scott Moerdler, MD (moderator) Karen Moody, MD MS Ariela Marshall, MD {1} ##LOC[OK]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## Product Details Webinar - Caring for Your Family While Caring for Others: The Struggles of Fertility, Reproductive Life Planning, and Caregiving Among Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physicians Webinar - Caring for Your Family While Caring for Others: The Struggles of Fertility, Reproductive Life Planning, and Caregiving Among Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physicians {1} ##LOC[OK]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## List Price: $35.00 USD Member Price: Free Back to Product Details {1} ##LOC[OK]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## {1} ##LOC[OK]## ##LOC[Cancel]## Please login to add items.
