Imposter syndrome, an internal experience of believing you are less competent than perceived to be, affects many in professional settings, including clinicians across all fields of medicine. Imposter syndrome spans gender, ethnic and racial groups, age groups, and across all stages of careers, and has been shown to occur in higher rates among women and ethnic minorities. Imposter syndrome can lead to self-doubt, prevent success, and increase burnout. In this webinar, we aim to identify some of the causes of imposter syndrome and discuss practical methods to address the stronghold it can have over each of us. By addressing this topic with our diverse group of members, we aim to bring awareness to the prevalence of imposter syndrome, identify these tendencies within ourselves, and help each member to go beyond any limitations set by imposter syndrome. Modifications in this thinking and behavior will lead to decreased burnout and increased success. We will utilize short didactics and incorporate active learning techniques to maximize engagement.

• Name at least three strategies to address and minimize the negative impact of imposter syndrome
